To pave from uneven curbs using slope control, choose the side of the road with the highest curb and position
the tracker over the curb. Set the other side for the desired cross slope and begin paving (Figure 139).

To keep the centerline in the middle of the road, you must set up the second pass using Sonic Control on each
side of the paver. The left tracker matches the lip of the curb and the right side tracker follows the new mat
(Figure 140). The cross is not consistent on this side of the roadway, but the joints match. Prevent moving the
Sonic Tracker away from the crown, as that changes the elevation.
