Field Memory Recorder (Chapter 7: MENU mode/Setup menu)
Selecting the recording sources (Source Sel)
This item selects the recording sources between the internal microphones and external sources.
In the following description, it is assumed that the FR-2LE is in the MENU mode and the main
menu screen is shown ("File >" is highlighted).
<Note>:
This menu item can be set in the quick setup mode (see page 55).
1) Use the [+] or [-] key to select "Setup >" and press the [MENU/ENTER] key.
The display now shows the Setup menu.
2) Use the [+] or [-] key to select "Source Sel" and press the [MENU/ENTER] key.
The current setting starts flashing and you can now change the setting (by default, "INPUT"
is selected).
You can select from among the following options.
INPUT (default)
I. MIC H
I. MIC L
<Note>:
When you select "I. MIC H" or "I. MIC L", the MIC TRIM and recording level
controls are ineffective.
3) Use the [+] or [-] key to select the desired sources and press the [MENU/ENTER] key.
You completes the setting and the display changes to show the previous screen.
4) Press the [STOP/CANCEL] key to exit the MENU mode.
External sound sources (microphones or line level signals) fed to the [ANALOG IN]
connectors are selected. The internal microphones are disabled.
The internal microphones are selected. The sensitivity is high (32 dB).
The [ANALOG IN] connectors are disabled.
The internal microphones are selected. The sensitivity is low (16 dB).
The [ANALOG IN] connectors are disabled.
